Job Summary:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized individual to join our team as a Field Inspector. As a Field Inspector, you will be responsible for conducting inspections and assessments of various properties to ensure compliance with safety regulations and industry standards. Your role will involve identifying potential risks, evaluating damages, and providing accurate reports to support decision-making processes.
Duties:
- Conduct inspections of residential and commercial properties to assess compliance with safety regulations and industry standards
- Identify potential risks and hazards, such as structural deficiencies or environmental concerns
- Evaluate damages caused by natural disasters, accidents, or other incidents
- Collect data and document findings using digital tools or paper-based systems
- Prepare detailed reports outlining inspection results, including recommendations for repairs or improvements
- Collaborate with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to address any issues or concerns
- Stay up-to-date with relevant regulations, codes, and industry best practices
Skills:
- Strong organizational skills to effectively manage inspection schedules and documentation
- Proficient in risk management principles to identify potential hazards and mitigate risks
- Knowledge of workers' compensation regulations and requirements
- Familiarity with ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation of injuries or medical conditions
- Mechanical knowledge to assess equipment functionality and safety measures
- Excellent negotiation skills to communicate findings and recommendations effectively
- Understanding of mold remediation processes and techniques
- Ability to verify insurance coverage for property owners or contractors
- Knowledge of Medicare guidelines for medical claims related to property damages
- Experience in auto estimating for assessing damages in vehicle-related incidents
